Mission Statement
The Fairview Community Corporation, doing business as Friends of TDYCC, is dedicated to securing and stewarding financial resources that strengthen, expand, and sustain the programs and services of the Town of Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources at the Theodore D. Young Community Center. We partner with individuals, businesses, and organizations to foster youth development, promote community engagement, and ensure equitable access to opportunities that enrich the lives of residents across Greenburgh.

Through strategic partnerships and philanthropic support, we aim to create an enduring legacy of growth, equity, and well-being, for every resident.
The sole mission of the Fairview Community Corporation is to identify and facilitate the means to financially support the efforts and programs on behalf of the Town of Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources at the Theodore D. Young Community Center (DCR/TDYCC).
The purpose of the Fairview Community Corporation (d/b/a/ Friends of TDYCC) is to maintain an association of persons and organizations that are interested in a partnership to benefit the Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC) facility. TDYCC, in concept, began in 1967 and has been residing at 32 Manhattan Ave., White Plains, NY since 1972. The goals of the Fairview Community Corporation is to assist with:
- Providing youth development services for the youth of the Fairview section of the Town of Greenburgh (“Greenburgh”);
- To support the programs and activities of the Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources at the TDYCC;
- To stimulate use of the Theodore D. Young Community Center’s resources and services;
- To accept gifts, endowments and bequests to aid in providing youth development services for the youth of Greenburgh, all in order to support expanded and improved programs and opportunities for the youth and the community of the Town of Greenburgh
