OUR MISSION
The sole mission of the Fairview Community Corporation is to identify and facilitate the means to financially support the efforts and programs on behalf of the Town of Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources at the Theodore D. Young Community Center (DCR/TDYCC).
The purpose of the Fairview Community Corporation (d/b/a/ Friends of TDYCC) is to maintain an association of persons and organizations that are interested in a partnership to benefit the Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC) facility. TDYCC, in concept, began in 1967 and has been residing at 32 Manhattan Ave., White Plains, NY since 1972. The goals of the Fairview Community Corporation is to assist with:
- Providing youth development services for the youth of the Fairview section of the Town of Greenburgh (“Greenburgh”);
- To support the programs and activities of the Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources at the TDYCC;
- To stimulate use of the Theodore D. Young Community Center’s resources and services;
- To accept gifts, endowments and bequests to aid in providing youth development services for the youth of Greenburgh, all in order to support expanded and improved programs and opportunities for the youth and the community of the Town of Greenburgh

As a Village of Elmsford (Town of Greenburgh) resident for over 50 years, Preston was a dedicated and faithful employee at the Fairview Greenburgh Community Center (Theodore D. Young Community Center) for 32 years having recently retired in May 2022.
